The exhibition “The Palette of Fantasies” is devoted to the celebration of Europe Day in Ukraine. Everybody who wants to visit this exhibition can do it till June 6, 2015 at the Centre of Ukrainian Culture and Arts.
The exhibition is held with the support of the Department of Culture of Kyiv City State Administration. The officers of the embassies in Ukraine, state and culture officials visited the solemn opening of the exhibition “The Palette of Fantasies”.
The exposition of the exhibition consists of the paintings made by children no older than 14 years old from European Countries. The number of European countries (Austria, Bulgaria, Great Britain, Georgia, Cyprus, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Hungary, Czech Republic, Sweden, and Scotland) responded to the initiative of CHILDREN’S ART GALLERY OF UKRAINE concerning the provision of children’s paintings for participation in the exposition of the exhibition “The Palette of Fantasies”.
Holding this exhibition is aimed to draw attention to the art of talented children from different European countries, including Ukraine, to encourage young generation for creative realization and learn new images and forms of boundless imagination embodiment.
One of the most important tasks of the exhibition consists in building and strengthening closer relationships between Ukraine and European countries in the area of culture, popularization of the general European cultural heritage among the society, in particular, among young people.
Holding the exhibition “The Palette of Fantasies” as well as the celebration of Europe Day in Ukraine is an important step to strengthening of Ukraine’s self-definition as a European country that is involved in traditions and values of Europe. It is a symbol of the beginning of a new successful sample of cooperation between countries based on general interests and aspirations.
